Tony Curtis & Janet Leigh: Relax Weekend

Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were relaxing in their living room on this photograph that reflects the style and interior design of the early 60s. The ensembles worn by the Curtis are a perfect example of what one can wear to relax and enjoy an early Spring weekend: checkered and striped pants, paired with a black shirt or a light cardigan. You know this is a good example to show how one can look relaxed and still stylish at the same time. The idea of being relaxed in this country consists of putting on nylon footballer's shorts and ghastly T shirts with huge numbers on them. Why do men dress so badly when they become relaxed (outside of their day to day formal office attires)?
